Currently based in Fort Collins CO, Stevey was born and raised on an Iowa farm, mimicking old-school country ballads from his dad’s record player.
Stevey continued his musical pursuits and taught himself guitar post-university. He has been performing nationwide as a singer-songwriter since 2011.
Stevey's supported artists including Nathaniel Rateliff, The Nadas, Shane Burke, The Wendy Woo Band, Clayton Risner, Elise Wunder, Alright Alright, The Covz, and Me & the Sea; performing live at several large events with 500+ attendees.
While blending a variety of musical genres, Stevey's writing is precise, introspective, and supplemented with creamy, soulful vocals. There is a consistent thread that ties a listener to his music; a Pop-Folk-Americana style that feels obscure and familiar at the same time.
